Catalysts Circle

A High-Trust Community for Entrepreneurs

Our Circle

We are a safe space for entrepreneurs to have honest conversations and build real connections. We create an environment of trust, openness, and shared growth.

Curated Network: We bring together founders, business owners, senior leaders, and investors in a community built on shared experience and mutual respect.Collective Wisdom: We meet monthly in small, trusted groups where everyone has the space to contribute openly. Conversations are confidential and supportive, making room for practical insight, honest reflection, and real human support.Targeted Introductions: We make thoughtful, intentional introductions—connecting the right people at the right moment to move ideas, decisions, and relationships forward.

How We Connect

Monthly Peer Circle

This is a safe space for people to share real experiences and challenges with a guiding theme, and receive genuine support from peers. In groups of up to 8 participants, we invite openness and vulnerability, fostering trust and creating space to reflect, exchange perspectives, and gain thoughtful feedback from others who truly understand your journey.

Let’s kick off the new year with a practical, often challenging, and always exciting topic: Sales. Whether you’re working in B2B, B2C, or other sales models, we invite you to join us in sharing your real-world experiences and the challenges you’re currently facing. Together, we’ll learn from one another, exchange insights, and offer meaningful support.

Targeted Introductions

A thoughtful way to help members connect with the right people directly — whether for funding, job searching, executive roles, hiring, or strategic support. Requests are intentional and specific, allowing for meaningful, relevant introductions rather than broad outreach.

Community Hub

Our community hub is designed for meaningful connections through in-person coffee chats and short online meetings, with focused asks around collaboration, recruitment, and shared challenges. It’s a space for thoughtful conversations — not noise.

Nature Reset

A relaxing retreat in nature for members to step away from daily noise, slow down, and reconnect — with themselves, with others, and with nature. Expect simple rhythms, honest conversations, shared meals, and unstructured time outdoors. This is not a workshop or networking event, but a reset for clarity and groundedness.

Team

Hello, I'm Yuqing (Quin) Wang, Founder & CEOMy journey began in science and technology, through two PhD research projects in nanomaterials and work as an IT consultant. Over time, however, a clear pattern emerged: the most complex challenges were rarely technical — they were human. This insight first led me to look inward. For more than seven years, yoga and sustained inner work have been a consistent part of my life, helping me develop greater confidence, focus, and calmness.

Over time, this personal practice took on a professional direction. I now work as a yoga teacher and leadership coach. My passion for working with people also inspired me to create this community—a safe, supportive space for real connection and shared growth. At the heart of my work is a simple mission — to catalyze meaningful connections within ourselves and with one another.

Code of Conduct

Who This Applies To

This Code of Conduct applies to all members and participants in Catalysts Circle — including founders, staff, members, guest speakers, and other community contributors — across all our platforms (online sessions, in-person events, member hub, etc.).

Core Principles & Behavioral Expectations

1. Respect & Civility
Treat others with kindness, dignity, and empathy.
Value diverse perspectives — you may disagree, but do so respectfully and without personal attacks.
Be considerate in your words and actions — assume good intent, and ask clarifying questions before assuming negative motives.
2 Psychological Safety & Vulnerability
Honor the courageous act of vulnerability — when someone shares challenges, fears, or mistakes, respond with empathy, not judgment.
Confidentiality is sacred — what is shared in peer circles or closed spaces stays within that space, unless explicit permission is given.
3 Generosity, Collaboration & Reciprocity
Be generous with your time, insights, and encouragement.
Strive for “both/and” rather than “either/or” thinking — we believe in synergy, not zero-sum competition.
Offer feedback when asked, and do so with humility and tact.
4 Integrity, Honesty & Transparency
Speak truthfully and with integrity.
Acknowledge mistakes, correct course, and apologize when needed.
Disclose conflicts of interest openly (e.g. when you have a business interest in a topic or connection).
5 Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
Welcome diversity of backgrounds, identities, geographies, and experiences.
Avoid language, jokes, or behavior that marginalizes or excludes (e.g. on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, socioeconomic status).
Amplify underrepresented voices; when you have influence, use it to uplift others.
6 Boundaries & Wellbeing
Respect personal time, space, and boundaries.
Participation is voluntary — don’t pressure others to take on more than they’re comfortable with.
Recognize when you or others need rest; voluntary stepping back is allowed and honored.
7 Constructive Conflict
Conflict is natural. When disagreements arise, engage in good faith, listen to understand, and seek resolution rather than escalation.
Use “I” statements (e.g. “I feel,” “I observe”) rather than accusatory language.
If a conflict cannot be resolved within the group, escalate to community moderators or leadership for mediation.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated:
Harassment, threats, or violence (verbal, written, or physical).
Personal attacks, insults, or demeaning language.
Discrimination, hate speech, or exclusionary remarks.
Revealing private or personal information of others without consent.
Repeated disruptive behavior after warnings.
Spam, self-promotion (without permission), or solicitations in spaces where they are inappropriate.
Breach of confidentiality or trust in closed/peer spaces.

Reporting & Enforcement

1 Reporting
If you observe or experience a violation, you are encouraged to report it confidentially to community moderators or leadership.
You may report anonymously if desired (though anonymity may limit the ability to follow up).
Provide as much information as possible: who was involved, when, where, what occurred, and any evidence (screenshots, messages, etc.).
2 Response & Resolution
The leadership or moderation team commits to reviewing all reports fairly and promptly.
In cases of minor violations, a private conversation or warning may suffice.
For repeated or serious violations, consequences may include temporary suspension of privileges, removal from certain groups or events, or expulsion from the community.
Decisions will aim to be restorative, not punitive — seeking learning, repair, and reconciliation whenever possible.
3 Appeal
If someone believes a decision was unjust, they may appeal in writing to a designated appeals officer or committee.
Appeals should be handled transparently, respectfully, and within a defined timeframe.

Evolution of This Code

This Code of Conduct isn’t static. As our community grows, our understanding deepens. Leadership will periodically review, solicit feedback, and revise this document. All substantive changes will be shared with the community in advance.

Healthy Digital Habits Matter

Do you ever find yourself trapped in mindless scrolling on social media — one short after another, one YouTube video after the next, one post endlessly following another? In the moment, it feels good. Almost energising. But afterwards, you may feel empty, restless, or even guilty about the time and energy that slipped away. You’re not lacking willpower. You’re responding exactly as these platforms are designed for you to respond. The good news? You can build healthy, supportive boundaries with your digital devices — and doing so can gently transform your life. It certainly transformed mine.

Better Sleep
I start going to bed earlier and sleeping more deeply.
Morning Routine
My mornings becomes calmer and more nourishing: I wake up feeling refreshed, have time for gentle stretching and meditation, and can sit down to enjoy an unrushed, nourishing breakfast.
Productive Work
During the day, I begin my work with a clear head and feel productive without feeling overwhelmed. Instead of scrolling during breaks, I move my body, stretch, or step outside for fresh air — breaks that actually restore my energy.
Mindful Living
I plan meals more mindfully, cook with intention, and enjoy food with presence and gratitude. I find time to organise my home and maintain a calm, tidy living environment.
Self-reflection
In the evenings, I creat space to sit quietly, reflect on my day, and process my thoughts and emotions with kindness.
Better Relationships
On weekends, I find peaceful moments to truly rest and spend time with family & friends while enjoying meaningful connection.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or constantly “on,” and you decide to work on it, I’d love to support you. Let’s work together to build digital habits that truly serve you, so your life can feel more focused, productive, and calm.
